Smoothie me again

Well hello there!

This morning’s smoothie was surprisingly delicious, maybe a new favorite combination.

I put a cup of frozen cherries, 3/4 cup of frozen blueberries and 3/4 cup of plain almond milk in the blender with 2 large spoonfuls of plain Greek yogurt, a tablespoon full of chia seeds and of course a ginormous handful of spinach.

Usually cherries aren’t the main attraction in my smoothie, they are a bonus, but this is cherry-licious and I’m loving it.  This will definitely be made gain.

    Sweet cherries or sour cherries? I’m on board if they’re sour. I was a slacker today and traded in my green monster for an iced coffee. Le sigh. Is that cup from Bed, Bath, & Beyond?

    Nope, I still don’t buy it. I like my spinach as a SALAD for lunch or cooked as a side with my dinner. I don’t think I’ll ever be a “spinach for breakfast” type of gal.

    I have to add frozen berries to my grocery list – why can I never remember to buy some?? My smoothies would be even better with some berry love.
